Attached at the... Cord?

Last night I had a somewhat freakish dream. So if you have a really weak stomach here is your WARNING...

I received a phone call that my friend Candice had her baby girl. (She's having a c-section tomorrow morning) I dropped everything to go visit them.

When I arrived Candice was sitting in her living room holding her lil girl. I could see the love in her eyes. I sat next to her and asked if I could hold her. She then told me that there had been some complications during the delivery and in order for Presley (her name is Presley Monroe ~ I think that's just the cutest lil name!) to survive, she then looked down and sniffled a lil bit and when she returned eye contact she had tears in her eyes, they couldn't cut the umbilical cord. I looked at her confused. "What do you mean they couldn't cut the umbilical cord?!" She proceeded to lift up her dress and revealed the cord coming out of her ta-ta and connecting to Presley's belly. I was confused but didn't want to upset her, so I just went with it. I looked at her and said that it was ok and that I stil wanted to hold her.

Candice handed me her precious joy. She was perfect and so beautiful. I had to stay extra close to Candice so that I didn't pull on the cord and hurt either of them.

Weird... right?

According to dreammoods.com:
To see an umbilical cord in your dream, represents your lack of individuality. You may be expressing some anxiety about being on your own and/or supporting yourself. To see a baby in your dream, signifies innocence, warmth and new beginnings. Babies symbolize something in your own inner nature that is pure, vulnerable, helpless and/or uncorrupted. If you find a baby in your dream, then it suggests that you have acknowledged your hidden potential.
